It has been quite a year. Some low points, mainly involving health issues for Kay, but, also many highlights and blessings. I, Kay, now have a new knee and a pacemaker. The pacemaker was a surprise. Despite these surgeries we were able to make our annual trip to Custer State Park for our 31st year as artists in residence. It was a great season! We got to be with our SD family, great friends and many of our favorite coworkers. Plus, we made many new friends from all over the country.
That is always fun for us.
The new name for the annual March exhibit in White Stone, VA, is NORTHERN NECK WATERFOWL AND WILDLIFE EXPO. Pat and William Bruce retired from putting on the Rappahannock River Waterfowl show after the 2024 exhibit. This show has been so popular for so many years that it was decided to continue it under new management, same location and it will continue to be a great little show.
We were unable to write the 2024 newsletter but plan to get back to it this winter. In the meantime, we wish you all a happy and healthy New Year.
